Connect Instagram

You need a professional account

Instagram only shares insights for Creator or Business accounts. It's free and you can switch back.

1. In the Instagram app: your profile → ☰ menu → Account type and tools.
2. Switch to professional account, then choose Creator (or Business).
3. Pick a category and finish. Your posts and your followers don't change.

Connect

1. Open Distribution → Connections and choose Connect Instagram.
2. Read FirstMRR's screen, then continue: Instagram opens in the browser.
3. Sign in to the account you want and authorize FirstMRR.
4. You come back to FirstMRR: the account's followers, following and posts show up.

What you see

Followers, following, number of posts, views gained over 7 and 28 days, and your 12 latest posts with views, reach, likes, comments, saves and shares. Instagram can publish some numbers a few hours late.

If it doesn't work

• After a "Confirm you're not a robot" check, you land on your Instagram feed: you're signed in to Instagram, but Instagram lost the way back. Go back to FirstMRR and click Connect Instagram again: this time, you go straight to the authorization screen.
• Instagram opens on the wrong account: log out of instagram.com in this browser, sign in to the right account, then start again.
• Message about a non-professional account: switch the account to Creator or Business (see above), then start again.
• "A permission was unchecked": start again and leave every box checked.
