Connect App Store Connect

What it's for

Many people watch your video, then type your app's name in the App Store without ever clicking your link. App Store Connect gives the downloads per source every day (search, browse, link): FirstMRR puts them next to your videos to see what each one caused.

Create the key (5 minutes)

1. Open App Store Connect, then Users and Access.
2. Integrations tab, App Store Connect API, then Team Keys.
3. + button: give it a name (for example « FirstMRR ») and choose Sales and Reports access, nothing else.
4. Note the Issuer ID (top of the page) and the new key's Key ID.
5. Click Download to get the .p8 file. Apple gives it only once: keep it.
6. In FirstMRR, Explorer → Accounts, Search and stores: Connect App Store Connect, paste the Issuer ID and Key ID, add the .p8 file.

The first report

Apple only lets an Admin key start the very first download report. If FirstMRR asks, create an Admin key and send it once: it is used for that call, not kept, and you can revoke it right after.

The first figures arrive 1 to 2 days after connecting: Apple publishes its reports with that delay.

What FirstMRR reads

• The download reports of the app you choose, per day and per source.
• Nothing else: not your sales, not your users, not your other apps. The key is encrypted and can't change anything.
• Disconnect deletes the key and the data read.
