Connect Google Search Console

See how many people search for your brand on Google after your videos.

What it's for

After a video, many people click no link: they type your brand's name in Google. Search Console counts those searches day by day. FirstMRR puts them next to your videos: a spike in searches right after a video means that video got people talking. Mostly useful for a site; for an app, App Store Connect shows the same thing in the App Store.

Why « Coming soon »

Google has to approve FirstMRR's access to Search Console before we can offer it. Without that approval, Google would show an « unverified app » screen that rightly scares people. The card switches on as soon as Google approves.

Connect (2 minutes)

  1. Your site must already be in Google Search Console (search.google.com/search-console), with your Google account.
  2. In FirstMRR, Explorer → Accounts, Search and stores: Connect Search Console, then pick that Google account.
  3. Choose your site, then write your brand's name as people type it (up to 3 forms: « firstmrr, first mrr »).
  4. The first numbers arrive with the next morning's reading.

What FirstMRR reads

  • The list of your Search Console sites, so you pick the right one.
  • For that site: the searches containing your brand's name, with their impressions and clicks, day by day. Nothing else.
  • Read-only access: FirstMRR can't change anything in Search Console. Disconnect removes the access at Google and deletes the data read.
